Dear Neighbor,
Happy New Year! I pray 2021 brings new promises and opportunities. May it also bring us new hope and unity. One of my passions is sewing and alongside that is teaching the skill! I know 2020 was a huge eye-opening experience. I hope you and your family are doing well and have not been affected by what has been happening and if so I hope you have found ease and grace during this time.
In January 2020 I launched my business Sew Happy Sewing Studio, a mobile sewing studio where I teach one-on-one sewing skills at the comfort of your home. As we all know March of 2020 the pandemic hit and changed everything! Due to the 6 feet social distancing and of course the virus, my business was paused! It was my duty to follow the CDC laws in order to be safe and keep all those around me safe.
If I took anything away from what has been happening during these times it would be the value of family and the importance of developing skills to help others. I know small businesses got a huge punch in the duration of this pandemic. Since the start of the pandemic, I have sewn 4,000 plus masks for people all over the US: nurses, custodians, teachers, essential workers, grocery clerks, office workers, restaurants, families, and senior homes out of the kindness of my heart. It has been such a humbling experience.
With that being said, like many people, one must adjust to what is happening around us. I wanted to bring it to your attention that I am still teaching sewing classes and would love to earn your business as a small business owner. You do not have to know how to sew, that is where I come in. I will teach with a mask on and provide the proper PPE during our class session.
There are a variety of classes that I teach starting at the age of seven and up. You can visit my website at www.sewhappysewingstudio.com or shoot me a text at 619-383-5672 if you have any questions. Sew Happy Sewing Studio is open to all seamstresses without regard to race, color, gender, disability, religion, age, sexual orientation, marital or parental status, or national origin. Sewing makes me SEW HAPPY!
Thank you so much for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Miss. Sharmin
